The Process

The Inquiry & Questionnaire

After inquiry, I will send a questionnaire that will correlate with the type of session you are booking. This is to get a feel for what exactly you are wanting, and will also help me get to know you, and get a feel for what kind of session we're going to have.

Quote

After the questionnaire is completed and sent back to me, I will then send a price quote. If the quote is not accepted within a week, I will send a follow up email. If there is no response after 48hrs, I will assume you have decided not to move forward in the booking process.

03.

Contract & Deposit

Once the quote is accepted, I will send a contract! This lovely document will have all of the details of our session lined out, as well as some other guidelines that will be written out. Once the contract is signed, an invoice will be sent and your deposit will be due upon signing.

04.

Final payment & Delivery

The final payment will be due on the day of the session. After the final balance is paid, there will be no more additional charges. Allow 1-3 weeks for gallery delivery, depending on session type.

FAQs

When will I get my photos?

Turn around time varies depending on the type of session. For a smaller session, I would say no longer than 1-2 weeks. For bigger sessions like a family session, I give 2-3 weeks. For weddings, 1-3 months.

**I will always send out sneak peeks up to 48hrs after the session though! :)

What is the payment process?

I typically will require a 30% deposit of the total balance upon booking the date of the session, which will ensure that your date and time is reserved. The rest of the balance will be due before or on the day of the session. No photos will be sent until the balance is paid in full.

What should I wear?

Ultimately, whatever you feel best represents YOU! However, my advice is to wear pieces that create texture & movement, such as layering and wearing eye-catching materials (like denim or corduroy, or chunky knit sweaters). For the sake of editing, I always advise my clients to stick to neutral color palettes (colors like yellow and red are not my favorite to work with).

Will I have to come up with poses beforehand?

Only if you want! My favorite thing to hear from clients is, "We trust your artistic eye!". Unless you have a few must-haves that you want to include in the session, you do not have to worry about poses! I typically use a few initial prompts, and then see where the session takes us. I love to hear your ideas, so feel free to speak up and tell me what you would like, and if not I still got you covered :)
